Waterpolo

Waterpolo is a game that needs both skill and power in the water. Danville has very strong and competitive teams and, with provincial coaches on board, the sport is reaching new heights.

Waterpolo is not played extensively in primary schools, so we like to get our grade 8 learners into this exciting, skillful game as early as possible. The season gets underway in term two with pre-season training prior to the very busy term three & four season.

The first team attends the Annual St Anne’s Waterpolo Tournament in Pietermaritzburg, playing against the top schools in the country, while our other age groups attend local tournaments. We are proud to have had provincial representation in various age groups over the years.
