A beautiful winters morning in Durban was the picture-perfect backdrop to Danville Park Girls’ High School’s second ‘Art in the Quad’. Visitors were treated to outstanding art from professional artists exhibiting alongside the school’s budding artists while listening to inspiring music and singing performances. There was also an opportunity for some ‘retail therapy’ to buy art, photographs, crafts, coffee and tantalising food. The event ended with the screening of Danville’s very first movie, produced by a Danville teacher with the school’s girls and teachers as the actors.
